A Growing Feeling of Dismemberment

it has been forever since i post anything here, however, here is the most recent project.
noel o'connell and i collaborated on this one during our residency in banff center this summer.
the project was inspired with a pine beattle infestation in bc and alberta. if not familiar and interested, you can read about it here.
our final presentation included pieces installed in a forest as well as in a gallery. here are several images of both views.

the following photos are from the 5th World Ceramic Biennale in Korea. my piece 'away' was selected as one of 180 prize winning works in the biennial contest. about 1,700 international ceramicists applied, so i am very proud to be part of the show! thanks jeremy for the photos.
